Monkey Score is a browser extension for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. It shows your share of the thinking: how much comes from you and how much from the AI.

The idea: AI should make you smarter, not lazier. If you keep thinking instead of handing everything over, you don't unlearn. In fact, you learn even more with AI.

How it works

Monkey Score measures whether you really read the AI's answers, skim them or just scroll through.
It recognises how you respond: asking, questioning, bringing in your own ideas or simply accepting.
That makes your score for the last 7 days. What you do right now counts more than what happened last week.
Under “Details” you see exactly how you read, how you respond and how much you think for yourself with each AI.
Everything stays on your device. No text is stored, nothing is sent. No account, no ads, no tracking.

Keep thinking regularly for 30 days, with more than one AI, and you earn the AI Pro badge. The more and the better, the higher the level.

Show what you've got

From level 3, Monkey Score creates an image with your title, your level, your golden bananas and your badge. You can post it as a post or a story.

The image is created on your device. Nothing is uploaded. And it only shows what you've achieved, never a bad score.

Does Monkey Score read my chats?

On claude.ai, chatgpt.com and gemini.google.com, Monkey Score analyses how you read and respond. This happens only on your device. No text is ever stored and nothing is sent. More in the privacy policy.

I don't see a score.

Your score appears after 5 interactions. One interaction is: the AI answers, you read it and reply.

The extension doesn't count anything.

In your browser settings under “Extensions”, check that Monkey Score is turned on and allowed to access claude.ai, chatgpt.com and gemini.google.com. Then reload the AI page.

How do I delete my data?

In the Monkey Score window, click ⓘ and then “Delete all my data”. Data older than 90 days is deleted automatically anyway.
